Lost Peninsula Fine Arts

These works begin where painting leaves off. Using grasses, bark, dried reeds, birch strips, and seed pods gathered from the Great Lakes watershed, each piece is built by hand from the landscape itself. Where oil paint interprets place, these weavings are made of it. This is a new and evolving body of work, growing alongside the land that inspires it.
